As a People Operations Manager, I am responsible for driving results across various functional areas including the recruitment and selection process, new hire administration, benefits, compensation, compliance, HRIS systems and talent management practices.

Operations Specialist

In my role as the Operations Specialist, I coach and develop operations managers with a focus on leadership, customer service and emotional intelligence to create the best workplace culture possible. I develop and execute operating mechanisms to normalize communications and develop confident, happy managers who value empathy. I also contribute to the hiring process while providing unbiased and supportive feedback with a goal of attracting, retaining and promoting internal and external candidates.

As the Director of School Launch, my focus was to help create the best beginning of year experience for students, parents and staff. This was accomplished by creating strong relationships with departments who most impacted student success on the first day of school. This type of project management required a high level of managing by influence, communication and holding teams respectfully accountable.

 

As the Operations Talent Partner, I was responsible for identifying quality candidates who were culture fits for each department's specific must have attributes and non-negotiables. This included training assistant principals of operations how to navigate through the hiring process using tools designed for screening, final interviews and onboarding.
